Study on electromagnetic force characteristics and vibration noise of shell-type transformers under different inter-turn short circuits [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Advances
Shell transformers are widely used in power systems and new energy fields owing to their compact structure and high short-circuit resistance. An inter-turn short circuit is a typical fault in operation and can easily cause electromagnetic force ...

Detection of Inter-turn Faults in Five-Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2014
Five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) have inherent fault-tolerant capabilities. This paper analyzes the detection of inter-turn short circuit faults in five-phase PMSMs in their early stage, i.e. with only one turn in short circuit by

Neural Networks Detect Inter-Turn Short Circuit Faults Using Inverter Switching Statistics

open access: yes, 2022
Early detection of an inter-turn short circuit fault (ISCF) can reduce repair costs and downtime of an electrical machine. In an induction machine (IM) driven by an inverter with a model predictive control (MPC) algorithm, the controller outputs are influenced by a fault due to the fault-controller interaction.

Electrochemically Engineered PEDOT:PSS/MXene Composite Electrode for the Label‐Free Procalcitonin Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Procalcitonin is a key biomarker for bacterial infections, but conventional detection methods are often time‐consuming. Here, we present an electrochemical sensor based on highly conductive Ti3C2Tx MXene combined with PEDOT:PSS, enabling direct antibody immobilization, while a bovine serum albumin coating provides antifouling protection.

Fault feature analysis of stator winding for synchronous condenser based on symmetrical component method

open access: yes电力工程技术
The traditional method for analyzing the mechanism of stator winding inter turn short-circuit faults of synchronous condensers usually assumes that the stator current of the motor is close to three-phase symmetry, and based on this, a mathematical ...
