Less-conventional low-consumption galvanic separated MOSFET-IGBT gate drive supply [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A simple half-bridge, galvanic separated power supply which can be short circuit proof is proposed for gate driver local supplies. The supply is made while hacking a common mode type filter as a transformer, as the transformer shows a good insulation, it

Influence of the Load on the Impulse Frequency Response Approach Based Diagnosis of Transformer’s Inter-Turn Short-Circuit

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Frequency Response Analysis (FRA) is an Off-line condition monitoring technique for the transformers and is successful, in diagnosing mechanical faults and inter-turn short-circuits.

Quantum critical states and phase transitions in the presence of non equilibrium noise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Quantum critical points are characterized by scale invariant correlations and correspondingly long ranged entanglement. As such, they present fascinating examples of quantum states of matter, the study of which has been an important theme in modern ...

Interturn short circuit fault diagnosis method of direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor based on two-stage PNN

open access: yes河南理工大学学报. 自然科学版
ObjectivesAccurate positioning of early faults is crucial for preventing the deterioration of motor system faults and formulating operation and maintenance strategies after faults.MethodsAiming at the problem that the inter-turn short-circuit fault ...

Investigating inter-turn fault in transformer using TTR and FRA [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Transformers are one of the significant elements in the power system network. The Transformer function is to step up and down the voltages. When the transformer operating in high load, it exposes to failures.

Class IIa HDACs forced degradation allows resensitization of oxaliplatin‐resistant FBXW7‐mutated colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Analytical Optimal Currents for Multiphase PMSMs Under Fault Conditions and Saturation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
An original analytical expression is presented in this paper to obtain optimal currents minimizing the copper losses of a multi-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) under fault conditions.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Stator Inter-Turn Short-Circuits Fault Diagnostics in Three-Phase Line-Start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Fed by Unbalanced Voltages

open access: yesMachines, 2023
This paper addresses the diagnostics of stator faults in three-phase line-start permanent magnet synchronous motors. More traditional fault diagnostic methodologies are unable to properly diagnose stator inter-turn short-circuit faults in three-phase ...

Alternator Rotor Inter-turn Short-Circuit Identification using FEM Based Learning

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2015
The goal of this paper is to identify rotor inter-turn short-circuits of an alternator. The detection method is based on the analysis of a flux probe signal located in the air gap of the machine. Previous works have shown that pattern recognition can be applied to detect such a fault by using the experimental data as prototypes.
