Improved GPSR in Inter-vehicle Communication

After analyzing GPSR under traffic scenarios, we find its poor performance dues to extremely uneven distribution of vehicles. Considering the characteristics of the traffic scenario, we propose Improved GPSR using an electronic map. The simulation results show that Improved GPSR performs better than GPSR on Packet Delivery Ratio.

In this paper, we investigate the interaction between a Network Mobility protocol: the NEtwork MObility (NEMO) Basic Support - and a pro-active Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) routing protocol: the Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol. We define a proof of concept architecture and build it using actual nodes.
