Pixel-Based Inter Prediction in Coded Texture Assisted Depth Coding
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2014This letter presents a pixel-based motion estimation scheme assisted with the coded texture video for depth inter-prediction, in view of motion similarity between depth and texture video. The proposed scheme can achieve higher inter-prediction gain without transmitting any motion vector in the pixel-based motion estimation.

Physical Layer Packet Coding: Inter-Block Cooperative Coding for 5G
2016 IEEE 83rd Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Spring), 20165G sets stringent requirement on delay, which means large packets have to be segmented into shorter ones. However, the gain of turbo coding can be severely degraded due to short code size. In this paper, a novel coding and encoding scheme is proposed to obtain high coding gain under short size.

Inter Frame Coding with Adaptive Transform
2010For inter frame coding, the motion-compensated residual takes a large proportion of the total bits and the efficiency of the followed transform greatly affects the compression performance. In this paper, we propose an adaptive transform scheme to further exploit the non-local correlation for the motion-compensated residual.

Rate model considering inter-symbol dependency for HEVC inter-frame coding
Signal, Image and Video Processing, 2016In this paper, an accurate rate model is proposed for inter-frame coding of high-efficiency video coding, which is useful for rate control. The proposed model considers the effect of entropy coding where the inter-symbol dependency is exploited in context- adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) for saving coded bits.

Inter-view coding for stereoscopic Digital Cinema
2008 15th IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2008An inter-view coding scheme is proposed for stereoscopic video applications such as 3D Digital Cinema. It tackles inter-view redundancy with efficient inter-view disparity-compensated filtering. In the temporal dimension, intra-coding with JPEG2000 is used to meet Digital Cinema specific requirements in terms of latency and random access.
