The Interacting Boson Model [PDF]
The interacting boson model is related to the collective and shell models. Even-even nuclei are considered. (AIP)

Plethysms and interacting boson models [PDF]
A short review of the plethysm technique aiming to its application in finding branching rules for the reduction of an irreducible representation of a group under the restriction to one of its subgroups is given. The algebraic structure of the interacting boson model and some of its extensions is given together with the branching rules needed to ...

Determination of Backbending in 122-130Ba Even-Even Isotopes [PDF]
The γ-unstable O(6) limit of the interacting boson model IBM-1 has been applied successfully to determine the backbending in weakly deformed 122-130 Ba even-even isotope.

Underlying SUSY in a generalized Jaynes–Cummings model
We present a general qubit-boson interaction Hamiltonian that describes the Jaynes–Cummings model and its extensions as a single Hamiltonian class. Our model includes non-linear processes for both the free qubit and boson field as well as non-linear ...

Coexistence and evolution of shapes: mean-field-based interacting boson model [PDF]
A method of deriving the Hamiltonian of the interacting boson model, that is based on the microscopic framework of the nuclear energy density functional, is presented.

STUDYING THE NUCLEAR STRUCTURE OF EVEN-EVEN DEFORMED GERMANIUM NUCLEUS [PDF]
In the present work, the interacting boson model(IBM-1) for s and d boson is used to calculate the energy levels of the positive parity bands, electric quadrupole moments, E2-transition probabilities B(E2)in particular between states which may be ...

New Interacting Boson Fermion-Fermion Model results [PDF]
We present a new application of the Interacting Boson Model (IBM) and its extensions for describing double charge exchange reactions. The study of double charge exchange reactions induced by heavy ions involving candidate nuclei for neutrinoless double ...

A Study of Nuclear Structure of (Mo^96,98) by Using Interacting Boson Model-1
In this study, the interacting Boson Model (IBM-1) was used to find the best Hamiltonian structure for studying the (Mo^96,98) structure. For generating the Hamiltonian structure, the calculated energy levels (ground, beta, and gamma bands) and B(E2 ...

Higgs decays to two leptons and a photon beyond leading order in the SMEFT
We present the three-body decay of the Higgs boson into two leptons and a photon to dimension-eight in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT).

Interacting boson model for superdeformation
Abstract The superdeformation is discussed from the point of view of the interacting boson model (IBM). By studying the structure of the superdeformed band in terms of the Nilsson model, it is suggested that superdeformed states have a spherical inert core which is much smaller than that for normal states.
