Abstract Solar analog field stars having a range of magnetic activity can provide an estimate of solar spectral irradiance (SSI) variability relevant to understanding the Sun's influence on terrestrial climate. This approach is particularly useful for far ultraviolet (FUV) irradiance that cannot be observed from the Earth surface.

Interaction of Galaxies with the ICM
In recent years a wealth of data and detailed hydrodynamical simulations have appeared that show the effects of interactions between the ICM and galaxies. Single dish observations show that cluster galaxies are deficient in their HI content out to 2 Abell radii. The deficient galaxies tend to be on radial orbits.

Serpentine Biocrust Microbes Maintain Nitrogen Cycling Under Drought and Heavy Metal Stress
This study highlights the complex interplay between soil geochemistry and moisture availability in shaping microbial communities within wetter and drier serpentine and non‐serpentine biological soil crusts. It demonstrates that both factors influence the structure of nitrogen‐cycling microbial communities and the processes they mediate.
