Neutron Monitor Based Incoming Flux Correction for Cosmic‐Ray Neutron Sensing of Environmental Water
Abstract Monitoring of near‐surface water content with cosmic‐ray neutrons is strongly dependent on heliospheric and geomagnetic conditions. Neutron monitor (NM) stations are commonly used as a reference for the incoming cosmic radiation to correct the hydrological neutron signal.

Abstract Background Medication non‐adherence is a leading cause of treatment failure in psychiatric populations. However, current studies highlight the lack of methodological guidance on medication assessments. Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA), using smartphone‐based evaluations, shows promise for real‐time monitoring in everyday settings.

ABSTRACT The treatment of elderly, nonfit acute myeloid leukemia (AML)/MDS patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) disease remains challenging. As histone demethylase LSD1 (KDM1A) is a rational therapeutic target in AML, we conducted a phase I trial (“rolling‐six design”) with the LSD1 inhibitor tranylcypromine (TCP, dose levels [DL] 20, 40, 60, 80 mg ...

Factors affecting the mean electrical axis of the heart in trained Thoroughbreds
Summary Background Assuming that the ventricular myocardium of horses is subjected to exercise‐induced hypertrophy, we hypothesised that the mean electrical axis (MEA) of the heart would change. Objectives To define a longitudinal study to detect any changes in the direction of the MEA in Thoroughbred horses using ECG.

ABSTRACT Background Surgery often causes anxiety in adults due to various factors, including fear of anaesthesia and loss of independence. This anxiety can lead to higher anaesthesia requirements and more postoperative complications. Virtual Reality (VR) is increasingly used as a non‐pharmacological intervention to decrease perioperative anxiety.
