Vertical GaN‐On‐GaN Micro‐LEDs for Near‐Eye Displays
Advanced Science, EarlyView.This work advances micro‐light‐emitting diode (micro‐LED) technology using GaN‐on‐GaN homoepitaxial platforms for low defects. Fluorine ion implantation replaces plasma etching for pixel isolation, reducing series resistance and enhancing optical quality. Vertical architectures enable dense integration.
