High resolution 3-Dimensional imaging of the human cardiac conduction system from microanatomy to mathematical modeling [PDF]
Cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disturbances are accompanied by structural remodelling of the specialised cardiomyocytes known collectively as the cardiac conduction system.

Non‐cardiac dyspnoea (n = 34, NCD) and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (n = 34, HFpEF) patients were classified according to right heart catheterisation. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance derived right ventricular (RV) haemodynamic indices for afterload (Ea), contractility (Ees) and RV/pulmonary artery coupling (Ea/Ees) were evaluated ...

Percutaneous edge-to-edge mitral valve repair (PMVR) is widely used for selected, high-risk patients with severe mitral valve regurgitation (MR). This report describes a case of 81-year-old woman presenting with severe and highly symptomatic mitral valve

Zero Fluoroscopy Ablation of Arrhythmias in Patients With Congenital Heart Disease
Zero‐fluoroscopy radiofrequency ablation using 3D electroanatomic mapping was performed in 42 patients with mild, moderate, or great complexity congenital heart disease. Acute success was 100%, with no complications and minimal recurrence over 48 months. This approach eliminates radiation exposure while maintaining safety and efficacy across select yet

Relationship Between Complex Signal Identification and Non‐Pulmonary Vein Foci
Using the CARTO CSI algorithm, electrogram fractionation (score ≥ 8.5) accurately localized non‐pulmonary vein triggers. CSI‐assisted ablation guided by these high‐complexity sites resulted in 82.4% arrhythmia‐free survival, demonstrating the feasibility of CSI as a selective mapping adjunct comparable to FAAM.

We present a case of isolated partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC) in a 48‐year‐old woman with severe pulmonary hypertension and right‐sided heart failure. CT pulmonary angiography revealed anomalous drainage of the right upper pulmonary vein into the superior vena cava, with no associated atrial septal defect.

Riparazione percutanea della valvola mitrale con Mitraclip nei pazienti con scompenso cardiaco avanzato e insufficienza mitralica funzionale: impatto clinico ed effetti sul rimodellamento cardiaco e sul profilo neurormonale. [PDF]
The role of percutaneous mitral valve repair (PMVR) in patients with advanced heart failure (HF) and functional mitral regurgitation (FMR) is unclear. The aim of this study was to assess the effects (PMVR) therapy on clinical outcomes , left ventricular (
