Intercalation chemistry of graphite fluorides

Journal of Fluorine Chemistry, 1992
Abstract Graphite fluorides of the general composition CFn, with n  0.25−1.0, are found, according to X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron studies, to contain graphitic zones which allow oxidative intercalation by bis(fluorosulfuryl)peroxide, S2O6F2, as well as intercalation by fluorosulfuric acid HSO3F and trifluoromethylsulfuric acid HSO3CF3.

Intercalation chemistry of graphite: alkali metal ions and beyond.

Chemical Society Reviews, 2019
Reversibly intercalating ions into host materials for electrochemical energy storage is the essence of the working principle of rocking-chair type batteries. The most relevant example is the graphite anode for rechargeable Li-ion batteries which has been

Synthesis and Intercalation Chemistry

2003
Alkali metal GICs are the best known donor type GICs, since they are easily prepared and their brilliant gold color for stage-1 GICs has attracted scientists working in intercalation chemistry. They have therefore been targets of intensive and detailed studies of their solid-state properties on the basis of the employment of highly oriented pyrolytic ...

Ultrafast Na intercalation chemistry of Na2Ti3/2Mn1/2(PO4)3 nanodots planted in a carbon matrix as a low cost anode for aqueous sodium-ion batteries.

Chemical Communications, 2019
Na2Ti3/2Mn1/2(PO4)3 nanodots uniformly planted in a carbon matrix are reported for the first time as a promising low-cost anode for aqueous sodium-ion batteries, showing ultrafast Na-intercalation chemistry with stable capacities of 78.8 mA h g-1 at 0.5C

Fullerene intercalation chemistry

Journal of Materials Chemistry, 1995
The synthesis, crystal chemistry and electronic properties of metal fullerides are described. The behaviour of solid C60 as an intercalation host is rationalised in terms of the electronic structure of the molecule. The use of chemical synthesis to control the electronic properties of the fullerides is emphasised.

Diacridines, bifunctional intercalators. Chemistry and antitumor activity

Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 1978
The synthesis and the characterization of a number of diacridines connected through the 9-amino position of the acridine rings by alkyl chains of varying lengths and with various substituents on the acridine ring are described. An interesting chemical property has been noted; whereas the 3-amino monoacridines cannot form stable dihydrochloride salts ...
