Moving Target Interception Considering Dynamic Environment [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The interception of moving targets is a widely studied issue. In this paper, we propose an algorithm of intercepting the moving target with a wheeled mobile robot in a dynamic environment. We first predict the future position of the target through polynomial fitting. The algorithm then generates an interception trajectory with path and speed decoupling.

Advancing Adhesive Strategies for Endodontically Treated Teeth—Part II: Dentin Sealing Before Irrigation Increases Long‐Term Microtensile Bond Strength to Coronal Dentin

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare the long‐term microtensile bond strength (μTBS) to coronal dentin using pre‐endodontic dentin sealing (PEDS) and post‐endodontic adhesion (PEA) techniques under various endodontic irrigation protocols. Materials and Methods Ten study groups (n = 10) were established based on the timing of adhesive application (PEDS versus ...

Incidence and Risk Factors of Peri‐Implantitis Over Time—A Prospective Cohort Study

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
Identifying true risk factors requires a longitudinal evaluation to verify the temporality criterion. This study identified periodontitis (stage and grade), lifestyle behaviours (smoking and sleep duration), implant location, and prosthetic factors (restoration type and margin location) as risk factors for peri‐implantitis.
