Proton dosimetry intercomparison

Radiotherapy and Oncology, 1996
Methods for determining absorbed dose in clinical proton beams are based on dosimetry protocols provided by the AAPM and the ECHED. Both groups recommend the use of air-filled ionization chambers calibrated in terms of exposure or air kerma in a 60Co beam when a calorimeter or Faraday cup dosimeter is not available.

INTERCOMPARISON OF EYE LENS DOSEMETERS

Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2016
An intercomparison of eye lens dosemeters has been conducted in terms of the quantity Hp(3). For the first time, besides photon radiation also beta radiation qualities were included. Three dosemeter types designed for the quantity Hp(3) and ten for Hp(0.07) took part in the intercomparison.

Ozone Intercomparisons from the Balloon Intercomparison Campaign

1985
Intercomparisons of remote and in-situ techniques used to measure stratospheric ozone are made using results obtained on the Balloon Intercomparison Campaign of 1982 and 1983. Two in-situ and four remote instruments participated. These included ECC ozonesondes, a UV absorption photometer, and microwave emission, IR emission and absorption spectrometers.

Uncertainties in dosemeter intercomparison techniques

Physics in Medicine and Biology, 1996
The results of 180 intercomparisons of field dosemeters with an NPL secondary-standard exposure meter (type 2560, with a type 2561 chamber) have been analyzed in order to study variations in readings when ionization chambers are interchanged during the comparison process.

EURADOS intercomparison on emergency radiobioassay

Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2014
Nine laboratories participated in an intercomparison exercise organised by the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) for emergency radiobioassay involving four high-risk radionuclides ((239)Pu, (241)Am, (90)Sr and (226)Ra). Diverse methods of analysis were used by the participating laboratories for the in vitro determination of each of the four ...
