Intercomparison of Retrospective Radon Detectors [PDF]
We performed both a laboratory and a field intercomparison of two novel glass-based retrospective radon detectors previously used in major radon case-control studies performed in Missouri and Iowa. The new detectors estimate retrospective residential radon exposure from the accumulation of a long-lived radon decay product, (210)Pb, in glass.

Markets Mitigate Land‐Use Competition From Energy Crops and Increase Farm Revenues
ABSTRACT Meeting the US Sustainable Aviation Fuel Grand Challenge target of 35 billion gal annually by 2050 will require an estimated 380 million–700 million dry tons of agricultural biomass feedstock. This study evaluates the implications of large‐scale biomass production for land use, crop production, and market outcomes under mature market ...

Abstract Dental microwear texture analysis (DMTA) has emerged as a valuable method for investigating the feeding ecology of vertebrates. Over the past decade, three‐dimensional topographic data from microscopic regions of tooth surfaces have been collected, and surface texture parameters have been published for both extant and fossil species.

Estimating water resources is important for regional climate impact analysis and risk estimation. The Middle East and Central Asia have largely reached the limit of sustainably usable water across their river basins and ecosystems. Strategies designed to mitigate environmental risks require a reliable estimation of water availability trends.
