Intercomparison of TL Dosimetry (DIMOND Programme)
During DIMOND CA, a thermoluminescence dosimetry intercomparison has been performed, in order to ensure that all participants measure the same dose. After the calibrating and annealing procedures, 50 TLD pellets (in groups of five) of each participating country were sent to the coordinator to be irradiated with 'unknown' radiations (blind test).

ABSTRACT Achieving global climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation and restoration goals requires innovative solutions that balance carbon sequestration with biodiversity conservation. Payments for ecosystem services markets often treat carbon sequestration and biodiversity separately, but integrating biodiversity as a co‐benefit within ...

Global climate change will modify the distribution areas of important cereal bugs by changing environmental conditions. Information on their dispersal possibilities can help to clarify their future economic importance and damage potential. In this study, we modelled the current potential and future distribution of four important pests by using the ...

ABSTRACT Ten timbers from the spire scaffold of Salisbury Cathedral were dated using a combination of ring‐width dendrochronology, stable oxygen isotopic dendrochronology and radiocarbon dating. Seven timbers were coeval and assigned a combined empirical felling date range of 1352–1378, which was further refined to 1351–1359 (OxCal 95.4%).

PEP725: 15 years of driving European and global phenology science
Summary Phenology – the timing of seasonal biological events – is a sensitive indicator of climate change and ecosystem dynamics. Long‐term, broad‐scale phenological data are crucial for understanding and predicting plant responses to environmental change.

Intercomparisons and Evaluations of Satellite-Derived Arctic Sea Ice Thickness Products
Currently, Arctic sea ice thickness (SIT) data with extensive spatiotemporal coverage primarily comes from satellite observations, including CryoSat-2, Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS), and the Ice, Cloud, and Land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2).
