Telecommunication Network Competition: An Equilibrium Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
The paper analyzes calling party pays access pricing policies in a General Equilibrium two ways access charge model with consumers that choose between different telecommunication providers, and benefit from making calls to other consumers and from the ...

Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Two-way interconnection and the collusive role of the access charge [PDF]

open access: yes
I show that under network competition with termination-based price discrimination access charges below marginal cost may be used as a collusion device, if the utility of receiving calls is accounted for.

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Interconnection policy: a theoretical survey [PDF]

open access: yesNova Economia, 2003
This article surveys the theoretical foundations of interconnection policy. The requirement of an interconnection policy should not be taken for granted in all circumstances, even considering the issue of network externalities. On the other hand, when it

Super Connectivity of Erdős-Rényi Graphs

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The super connectivity κ ′ ( G ) of a graph G is the minimum cardinality of vertices, if any, whose deletion results in a disconnected graph that contains no isolated vertex.

Additive Manufacturing of Continuous Fibre Reinforced Composites: Process, Characterisation, Modelling, and Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Additive manufacturing provides precise control over the placement of continuous fibres within polymer matrices, enabling customised mechanical performance in composite components. This article explores processing strategies, mechanical testing, and modelling approaches for additive manufactured continuous fibre‐reinforced composites.

On allocation schemes for the interconnection of LANs and multimedia sources over broadband networks

open access: yes, 2022
S.47-64One fundamental difference between traditional telecommunications networks and traditional data networks is the level where statistical multiplexing takes place. The LAN world uses broadcast topologies, shared media and statistical multiplexing is
