Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

Controlling the protein corona formation onto carbon nanomaterials (CNMs) enhances their functionalities as platforms for cancer theranostics. Here, we reviewed the effects of the intrinsic and acquired properties of CNMs on protein corona formation, the consequent biological and toxicological outcomes, and the strategies to reshape corona formation ...

Online Combinatorial Allocation with Interdependent Values
We study online combinatorial allocation problems in the secretary setting, under interdependent values. In the interdependent model, introduced by Milgrom and Weber (1982), each agent possesses a private signal that captures her information about an item for sale, and the value of every agent depends on the signals held by all agents.

Ligand‐Mediated Shape Engineering of SWIR InAs Colloidal Quantum Dots for Photodetector Applications
The table of contents: A robust ligand‐engineering strategy is introduced for SWIR InAs CQDs synthesized from amino‐arsine precursors. Bulky OA ligands induce controlled shape evolution, allowing access to >1700 nm absorption under mild conditions. Halide‐based inkification enables photodetectors with 19.1% EQE at 1300 nm and detectivity exceeding 1010

Evolution, systems of interdependence, and social values
Human social behavior is strongly conditioned by the interdependence relationships that actors, be they individuals or groups, share, as well as the outcomes or values they pursue for self and/or for interdependent others. The economist Kenneth Boulding (1978) has recently set forth a theory of human social behavior that considers the role of ...
