Engineered Protein‐Based Ionic Conductors for Sustainable Energy Storage Applications
Rational incorporation of charged residues into an engineered, self‐assembling protein scaffold yields solid‐state protein films with outstanding ionic conductivity. Salt‐doping further enhances conductivity, an effect amplified in the engineered variants. These properties enable the material integration into an efficient supercapacitor.

Local Ferroelectricity in SrTiO_3 Thin Films
The temperature-dependent polarization of SrTiO_3 thin films is investigated using confocal scanning optical microscopy. A homogeneous out-of-plane and inhomogeneous in-plane ferroelectric phase are identified from images of the linear electrooptic ...

Electrically Readable Lateral Flow Assay Using Organic Transistors for Diagnostic Applications
Electrolyte‐gated organic field‐effect transistors (EGOFETs) are integrated with lateral flow (LF) paper fluidics to create a reusable, portable, and low‐cost point‐of‐care (PoC) diagnostic test. The devices are validated for Human Immunoglobulin G detection, achieving high sensitivity (0.1 fm), selectivity, and reproducibility with rapid results in 20–

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Impedimetric Characterization of Interdigitated Electrode Arrays for Biosensor Applications
We present recent results of the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements for interdigitated electrode arrays (IDAs) ranging from several micrometers down to hundreds of nanometers. Simulations have shown that the electric field strength

Focusing Mirror with Tunable Eccentricity
We present a new kind of varifocal mirror with independently adjustable curvatures in the major directions. For actuation we use two stacked piezo bending actuators with crossed in-plane polarization.

Peptide‐Induced Ferroelectricity in Charge‐Transfer Supramolecular Materials
Bio‐inspired supramolecular charge‐transfer amphiphiles self‐assemble into nanoribbons in water, where peptide chirality‐induced symmetry breaking generates robust ferroelectricity across multiple systems. These water‐processable organic ferroelectrics also enhance neuronal outgrowth and electrophysiological maturity, offering a versatile strategy for ...

Negative Differential Resistance in ZnO Nanowires Bridging Two Metallic Electrodes
The electrical transport through nanoscale contacts of ZnO nanowires bridging the interdigitated Au electrodes shows the negative differential resistance (NDR) effect. The NDR peaks strongly depend on the starting sweep voltage. The origin of NDR through
