Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Multiscale Comparison Study of Void Closure Law and Mechanism in the Bimetal Roll-Bonding Process
The void closure mechanism during the roll-bonding process was investigated using a multiscale approach, which includes contact deformation at the macro-scale and atomic bonding at the micro-scale. The closure process of the voids was observed using roll-

Microgels Adsorbed at Liquid-Liquid Interfaces: A Joint Numerical and Experimental Study [PDF]
Soft particles display highly versatile properties with respect to hard colloids, even more so at fluid-fluid interfaces. In particular, microgels, consisting of a cross-linked polymer network, are able to deform and flatten upon adsorption at the ...

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Effect of anisotropic surface tension on the interface morphology of column crystals
The effect of anisotropic surface tension on the growth behavior of column crystals at quasi-steady state is considered in this article. By using the method of asymptotic expansion,a mathematic expression is obtained to describe the interface patterns of

Similarity and dissimilarity of joint interface morphology in magnetic pulse welded Al/Cu and Al/Ni plates [PDF]
A characteristic wavy morphology often appears at the joint interface of magnetic pulse welding (MPW), and an intermediate layer is formed in some metal combinations.

Morphology of Graphene on SiC(000-1) Surfaces
Graphene is formed on SiC(000-1) surfaces (the so-called C-face of the crystal) by annealing in vacuum, with the resulting films characterized by atomic force microscopy, Auger electron spectroscopy, scanning Auger microscopy and Raman spectroscopy ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.
