Amplification by stochastic interference
A new method is introduced to obtain a strong signal by the interference of weak signals in noisy channels. The method is based on the interference of 1/f noise from parallel channels.

ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment and exercise intolerance are common in dialysis patients. Cerebral perfusion and oxygenation play a major role in both cognitive function and exercise execution; HD session per se aggravates cerebral ischemia in this population. This study aimed to compare cerebral oxygenation and perfusion at rest and in mild

Observation of Young's Double-Slit Interference with the Three-Photon N00N State
Spatial interference of quantum mechanical particles exhibits a fundamental feature of quantum mechanics. A two-mode entangled state of N particles known as N00N state can give rise to non-classical interference.

Interference of interference effects
We analyze the interference of individual photons in two overlapping Mach–Zehnder interferometers joined via a common beam splitter. We show how two kinds of interference effects—single-photon Mach–Zehnder interference and two-photon Hong–Ou–Mandel interference—interfere with one another, partially canceling each other out.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

Interference Mitigation through Limited Transmitter Cooperation
Interference limits performance in wireless networks, and cooperation among receivers or transmitters can help mitigate interference by forming distributed MIMO systems. Earlier work shows how limited receiver cooperation helps mitigate interference. The

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...
