Interference alignment in multi-carrier interference networks
2011 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory Proceedings, 2011We consider an interference network with multi-carrier transmission over M parallel sub-channels. There are K transmitter-receiver pairs, each transmitter transmits a single data stream with a rank-one precoding matrix, and the receivers are assumed to be linear.

Interference alignment in MIMO interference relay channels
2012 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), 2012The degrees of freedom (DoF) has been recognized as a powerful metric to characterize the capacity of interference channels in the high signal-to-noise (SNR) region. In this paper, by utilizing linear interference alignment, we investigate the DoF of multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) interference relay channels without symbol extensions.

Polarimetrie interference-alignment beamforming
2016 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (APSURSI), 2016We introduce the concept of Polarimetrie interference-alignment (PIA) beamforming for multiuser MIMO channels. By using vector antennas, we harness the orthogonal polarization components of electromagnetic waves to provide a signal space for the interference-alignment technique proposed by Cadambe and Jafar.

Interference alignment with diversity
Sensor Signal Processing for Defence (SSPD 2010), 2010This paper studies the diversity benefit of different interference alignment solutions, which are classified into two categories called diversity interference alignment and zero-forcing interference alignment. Although these two types of solutions are not distinguishable in terms of the multiplexing gain, it will be shown their difference lies in the ...

Interference Alignment for DSL
2012 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), 2012Inter-line interference, known as crosstalk, is the most significant source of performance degradation for Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) systems. Vectored DSL is an effective technique for he elimination of crosstalk; however, there are many scenarios in which Vectored DSL is not implementable or practical.

Integer-forcing interference alignment
2013 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2013In this paper, we propose a novel framework, integer-forcing interference alignment, that can simultaneously exploit both signal-space and signal-scale alignment. We consider receivers that can decode integer-linear combinations of desired and interfering streams and then solve for their desired symbols.

The interference fringe aligner
Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology B: Microelectronics Processing and Phenomena, 1988The interference fringe aligner uses interference fringes formed by two crossed laser beams to align each exposure field in a step and repeat camera. The alignment mark is a diffraction grating with a period equal to a multiple of the laser fringe period.

Quantum Interference in Aligned Molecules
2007High-order harmonic generation (HHG) in aligned molecules is an important area in strong field ultrafast physics [1]-[3]. It has been shown that the dependence of HHG on the molecular structure can give new insights into measuring molecular structure on a subfemtosecond timescale [3].

Ergodic interference alignment for the SIMO/MIMO interference channel
2014 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2014Ergodic interference alignment (IA) is a simple yet powerful tool that not only achieves the optimal K/2 degrees of freedom (DoF) of the K-user single-input single-output (SISO) interference channel (IC), but also allows each user to achieve at least half of its interference-free capacity at any SNR.
