Information alignment for consensus with interference

2014 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2014
This paper studies distributed averaging of arbitrary vectors in the presence of network interference by casting an algebraic structure over the interference. While communicating locally with its neighbors for consensus, each agent causes an additive interference, lying on a low-dimensional subspace, in other communication links.

Polar alignment for interference networks

2011 49th Annual Allerton Conference on Communication, Control, and Computing (Allerton), 2011
Polar coding has originally been introduced as a capacity achieving low complexity code for binary input symmetric channels. Polar codes can be understood as transformations that replace a probabilistic channel with parallel deterministic counterparts.

On the Performance of Wireless Powered Cognitive Relay Network With Interference Alignment

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2018
In this paper, a two-hop decode-and-forward wireless powered relaying cognitive radio network with interference alignment over Rayleigh fading channels is investigated. The energy-constrained secondary relay node harvests energy from both the information

Interference Alignment Based Spectrum Sharing for MIMO Radar and Communication Systems

International Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications, 2018
When Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) radar and communication transceivers are co-existing and operating simultaneously in the same frequency band, interference can be managed by designing signal spaces that facilitate spectrum sharing.

A sufficient condition for interference alignment

2015 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT), 2015
We consider the classical problem of spatial interference alignment (IA) in MIMO channels with constant channel coefficients through design of linear transmit precoders and receiver filters. Some easily (polynomial time) computable necessary conditions for IA have been derived in the literature [1], [2], [3].

Implementation aspects for interference alignment

2015 IEEE International Conference on Digital Signal Processing (DSP), 2015
Several interference alignment (IA) testbeds have been reported by research groups that validate the theoretical findings thus demonstrating the feasibility of IA. The design complexity of the IA testbed is significant since many simultaneous wireless links have to be established to observe the benefits of IA.

A Review on Interference Alignment in Multiuser Interference Channels

Wireless Personal Communications, 2015
As the density of base stations in wireless networks becomes higher, system performance is limited not by noise but by interference from other transmitters and so research on interference channels has been actively undertaken. In this article, we study interference alignment (IA) techniques, which are known to maximize the achievable degrees of freedom

On the Robustness of Lattice Interference Alignment

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2013
A static (constant channel gains) real K-user interference channel is considered, where all interference (cross) channel gains are integers. For such channels, previous results demonstrate that the number of degrees of freedom is very sensitive to slight variations in the direct channel gains. In this paper, we derive an achievable rate region for such

Interference Alignment With Differential Feedback

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2012
Interference alignment (IA) has been recognized as a promising technique to obtain large multiplexing gain in multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) interference channels. Most existing IA schemes require global channel state information (CSI) at the transmitter to design precoding vectors and, thus, result in significant capacity overhead in the ...

Integer-forcing interference alignment

2013 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2013
In this paper, we propose a novel framework, integer-forcing interference alignment, that can simultaneously exploit both signal-space and signal-scale alignment. We consider receivers that can decode integer-linear combinations of desired and interfering streams and then solve for their desired symbols.
