Interference channel with delay: Noisy interference

2010 International ITG Workshop on Smart Antennas (WSA), 2010
We consider the interference channel with two transmit-receive pairs when there is a delay in receiving the desired message compared to interference. We study this channel in the weak interference regime (noisy interference), and show that delay does not affect the capacity of the interference channel in this region. This also holds for an interference

Interference channels

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1978
An interference channel is a communication medium shared by M sender-receiver pairs. Transmission of information from each sender to its corresponding receiver interferes with the communications between the other senders and their receivers. This corresponds to a frequent situation in communications, and defines an M -dimensional capacity region.

On the Gaussian interference channel

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1985
The determination of the capacity region of the Gaussian interference channel remains an open problem. The channel model is described and cases that have been solved by other researchers are summarized. The optimality is established of two extreme points in the achievable region of the general Gaussian interference channel.

Burst Channel with Interference

2006 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2006
Closed form ergodic capacity equations for multiple antenna radio links interfered by noise and interference are presented. So called burst channel with a predefined frame structure is assumed to facilitate the analysis in the case of frequency? selective channels. Perfect channel state information (CSI) is assumed at the receiver.

On the secure interference channel

2013 51st Annual Allerton Conference on Communication, Control, and Computing (Allerton), 2013
We introduce a secure communication setup of an interference channel whose transmitted signals are fed into interleavers. The interleavers apply random permutations to the signals, and the realizations of the permutations are made known to the receivers but not the transmitters.

Interference-Aware Online Distributed Channel Selection for Multicluster FANET: A Potential Game Approach

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2019
The deployment of large-scale UAV clusters for cluster advantages will lead to high competition and excessive congestion of spectrum resources, which results in mutual interference.

The Capacity of Known Interference Channel

IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 2014
In this paper, we investigate the capacity of a known interference channel, where a transmitter sends information to a receiver in the presence of a block-fading interference link, and the receiver knows the interference data but not the channel gain of ...

On the AND-OR Interference Channel and the Sandglass Conjecture

2020 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT), 2020
This paper is mostly a follow up on the work of Etkin and Ordentlich that studied the capacity regions of binary input deterministic interference channels. The only binary input deterministic interference channel whose capacity region is unknown (up to isomorphism) is when one receiver receives the Boolean AND of the two transmitted symbols, and the ...

Co-channel Interference

1996
For cellular radio systems the radio link performance is usually limited by interference rather than noise and, therefore, the probability of co-channel interference (CCI), is of primary concern. The definition of the probability of CCI depends on the the assumptions made about the radio receiver and propagation environment.

Clustering for Interference Alignment in a Multiuser Interference Channel

2012 IEEE 75th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Spring), 2012
Interference alignment (IA) has been shown as a promising technique to achieve the optimal capacity scaling of a multiuser interference channel at asymptotically high signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR). However, in practical communication systems, mitigating all interference via IA is not necessary since some of them only have negligible effect due to path ...
