Adjacent channel interference

2006
The adjacent channel interference (ACI) can result in a reduced network capacity in a multioperator WCDMA/FDD environment. This paper is devoted to the study of the ACI, using a static simulator. Simulations were performed in order to identify particular scenarios and network compositions where ACI plays a major role in the system capacity.

Interference alignment in MIMO interference relay channels

2012 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), 2012
The degrees of freedom (DoF) has been recognized as a powerful metric to characterize the capacity of interference channels in the high signal-to-noise (SNR) region. In this paper, by utilizing linear interference alignment, we investigate the DoF of multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) interference relay channels without symbol extensions.

Ergodic interference alignment for the SIMO/MIMO interference channel

2014 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2014
Ergodic interference alignment (IA) is a simple yet powerful tool that not only achieves the optimal K/2 degrees of freedom (DoF) of the K-user single-input single-output (SISO) interference channel (IC), but also allows each user to achieve at least half of its interference-free capacity at any SNR.

Computer channel interference analysis

IBM Systems Journal, 1965
This paper develops a queuing model that analyzes the capabilities of a low speed data channel for real-time data inputs. The model yields estimates of waiting, service, and overall transit times. Low speed channel throughput can be increased by multiplexing low speed devices.

Co-Channel Interference Separation

1980
Abstract : The objective of this effort was to investigate techniques to reduce the signal degradation due to co-channel and adjacent-channel voice-on-voice interference. Sorting and suppression techniques using linear prediction coefficients and an adaptive comb filter were investigated. Limited success was achieved.
