On phases and interference of local communications in molecules [PDF]
The role of phases in local Communication Theory of the Chemical Bond is investigated. Probability amplitudes of such molecular (fine-grained) information systems originate from the superposition principle of quantum mechanics involving the projection onto the bond system defined by the subspace of the state occupied Molecular Orbitals.

Covert Wireless Communication With a Poisson Field of Interferers [PDF]
In this paper, we study covert communication in wireless networks consisting of a transmitter, Alice, an intended receiver, Bob, a warden, Willie, and a Poisson field of interferers. Bob and Willie are subject to uncertain shot noise due to the ambient signals from interferers in the network.

Limits on the Capacity of In-Band Full Duplex Communication in Uplink Cellular Networks
Simultaneous co-channel transmission and reception, denoted as in-band full duplex (FD) communication, has been promoted as an attractive solution to improve the spectral efficiency of cellular networks.

Tumor microenvironment drives cancer formation and progression. We analyzed the role of human cancer‐associated adipocytes from patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) stratified as lean, overweight, or obese. RNA‐seq demonstrated that, among the most altered genes involved in the tumor–stroma crosstalk, are ADAM12 and CYP1B1, which were proven to be ...

Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon
