Photonics-based interference mitigation filters
2000 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference. Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8522), 2002New photonic filter structures for interference mitigation of microwave signals are presented. These novel fibre-based filters have a parallel topology, and overcome the problem of synthesising both a narrow stopband and a very-wide and flat passband. Results for these filters showed a stopband 6-dB width of 10 MHz at a frequency of 1.5 GHz, with flat ...

Cathodic Protection Interference - Interference Testing and Mitigation of Interference Issues
CORROSION 2018, 2018Abstract This paper will discuss CP Interference and CP Influence and how the two differ. CP Interference will be shown with some interference testing case histories and the CP Influence will also be shown with a case history. The two topics Interference vs.

HOS-Based Interference Mitigation Algorithm
The Proceedings of the Multiconference on "Computational Engineering in Systems Applications", 2006An algorithm for GPS receivers to mitigate narrowband interference is proposed in this paper, in which the step size parameter of LMS is adaptively updated by virtue of higher order statistics (HOS). Ad result, it makes the convergence speed is less sensitive to the choice of step size parameter, and consequently, that of the power of interference ...

Enhancing interference mitigation in communication
Fourth International Conference on Information, Communications and Signal Processing, 2003 and the Fourth Pacific Rim Conference on Multimedia. Proceedings of the 2003 Joint, 2004spread spectrum is a technique that the transmitted signal is spreaded over a broader portion of the radio frequency band, by means of a code independent of the data. This technique will however allow a better performance over a fading channel, inherent privacy, and immunity to narrowband interference.

Interference mitigation utilising spectral redundancy
ISSPA '99. Proceedings of the Fifth International Symposium on Signal Processing and its Applications (IEEE Cat. No.99EX359), 2003We discuss various filtering algorithms which exploit signal redundancy in the form of spectral correlation. We show through simple analysis and test results that most of these techniques are special cases or variations to special cases of the multivariate Wiener filter.

Photonics-based interference mitigation filters
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2001New photonic filter structures for interference mitigation of microwave signals are presented. These fiber filters have a parallel topology, and comprise a grating based photonic bandpass filter, or a dual offset cavity structure based on a new noncommensurate delay-line approach.

LTE Uplink Interference Mitigation Features
MILCOM 2018 - 2018 IEEE Military Communications Conference (MILCOM), 2018Due to the proliferation of wireless technologies over the last decade, the demand for spectrum access has grown exponentially. The Department of Defense (DoD) faces increasing pressure to free up spectrum for auction to the commercial wireless industry. The recent Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) 3 auction introduced a transition approach in which the

Interference Mitigation Using Spectrum Sensing
2007 16th International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks, 2007The concept of spectrum sensing is in the broad sense, the ability to detect and interpret other signals in the band and take appropriate actions by implementing adaptive techniques in the MAC layer in addition to traditional interference cancellation techniques applied in the PHY layer.

Bluetooth Interference Mitigation in 802.11g
2008 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2008We study Bluetooth (BT) interference mitigation in IEEE 802.11g systems. A robust modified minimum mean squared error (MMSE) algorithm is derived for channel estimation. For interference estimation and cancelation, we consider two cases: the interference non-coincident and coincident with the 802.11g subcarriers.
