Effects of Irregular Bathymetry on Hologram Formation of Moving Source in Shallow Water

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
This paper examines the effect of irregular bathymetry on the holographic reconstruction of the sound field generated by a moving source in shallow water. In this scenario, acoustic waves propagate along the path between the source and receiver.

Direct Photocurrent Detection of Optical Vortex Based on the Orbital Photo Galvanic Effect: Progress, Challenge, and Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Direct orbital angular momentum (OAM) detection through the orbital photogalvanic effect offers a scalable route for integrated optoelectronics. This perspective evaluates symmetry‐driven material selection and demonstrates how electrode matrices enable the resolution of complex, mixed OAM modes.

Robustness of atmospheric trace gas retrievals obtained from low-spectral-resolution Fourier transform infrared absorption spectra under variations of interferogram length [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Measurement Techniques
This study examines the sensitivity of atmospheric trace gas column retrievals from ground-based Fourier transform interferometer measurements to variations in the number of points in the recorded interferograms.

Spatial coherence effects on second- and fourth-order temporal interference

open access: yes, 2008
We report the results of two experiments performed with two-photon light, produced via collinear degenerate optical spontaneous parametric downconversion (SPDC), in which both second-order (one-photon) and fourth-order (two-photon) interferograms are ...

On some spectral properties of TanDEM-X interferograms over forested areas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This letter reports about some obervations over rainforest (in Brazil and Indonesia), where the spectra of TanDEM-X interferograms show distinct features, almost a signature, which is explained and modelled in terms of the scattering properties ...

Wavefront Line‐Scan Imaging Via a Single‐Pixel Detector

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We propose and demonstrate a wavefront line‐scan imaging paradigm that integrates 1D spatial light modulation with single‐pixel detection. Benefiting from 1D modulation, not only is the imaging speed improved, but also the storage of modulation patterns is reduced by several orders of magnitude.

Real‐Time Multicolor Fluorescence Microscopy via Cross‐Channel Acquisition and Deep‐Learning‐Based Inference

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Sequential multicolor fluorescence imaging in dynamic microsystems is constrained by acquisition speed and excitation dose. This study introduces a real‐time framework to reconstruct spectrally separated channels from reduced cross‐channel acquisitions (frames containing mixed spectral contributions).

Superfluid current disruption in a chain of weakly coupled Bose-Einstein Condensates

open access: yes, 2003
We report the experimental observation of the disruption of the superfluid atomic current flowing through an array of weakly linked Bose-Einstein condensates. The condensates are trapped in an optical lattice superimposed on a harmonic magnetic potential.

Measurement of electron density in transient spark discharge by simple interferometry

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2021
In this work, the electron density in an atmospheric-pressure Ar transient spark (TS) discharge was measured using an interferometric method. The discharge was operated in a pin-to-plate electrode configuration by applying DC voltages of 7–10 kV.
