Photonic QPU With Coherent States for Reversible Quantum Logic
A photonic Quantum Processing Unit X (QPU X) design leveraging coherent‐state qubits and linear optics probabilistically implements fundamental logical gates‐including AND, OR, C‐NOT, C¯$\bar{C}$‐NOT, Toffoli (C2${\rm C}^2$‐NOT), and Fredkin (C‐SWAP)‐with success probabilities up to 1/4 for simpler gates.

A tool to model ensemble‐based atomic quantum memory experiments using the quantum channel formalism is presented, incorporating realistic loss and noise effects. It provides a digital twin of state‐of‐the‐art memories and demonstrates its applicability through a simulation of a memory‐assisted quantum token protocol. The framework is easily extendable

A Review of Software for Designing and Operating Quantum Networks
A quantum network can be organized following a three‐plane abstraction: infrastructure, logical, and control. A taxonomy of the network functions of the control plane is proposed, and the state of the art in software for quantum networks is discussed. A guide for future directions on software development is provided.
