Coherent interferometric imaging, time gating and beamforming [PDF]
Coherent interferometric imaging is based on the backpropagation of local spacetime cross-correlations of array data and was introduced in order to improve images when the medium between the array and the object to be imaged is inhomogeneous and unknown (Borcea et al 2005 Inverse Problems 21 1419).

A Review of Crop Height Retrieval Using InSAR Strategies: Techniques and Challenges
This article compares the performance of four different interferometric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) techniques for the estimation of rice crop height by means of bistatic TanDEM-X data.

Effects of spatiotemporal coherence on interferometric microscopy
Illumination coherence plays a major role in various imaging systems, from microscopy, metrology, digital holography, optical coherence tomography, to ultrasound imaging. Here, we present a systematic study on the effects of degrees of spatiotemporal coherence of an illumination (DSTCI) on imaging quality of interferometric microscopy. An optical field

Spectral interferometric coherent Raman imaging
We propose a low-background and sensitive coherent Raman imaging technique that uses selective excitation of Raman levels with chirped pulses from a single femtosecond laser. The proposed scheme uses spectral interferometric detection to obtain the real and imaginary parts of chi(3) simultaneously.

Low-Coherence Shearing Interferometry With Constant Off-Axis Angle
We present a wide-field interferometric imaging module for biomedical and metrological measurements, employing shearing interferometry with constant off-axis angle (SICA) that can work, for the first time, with a low-coherence light source.

Polarimetric coherence optimization for interferometric differential applications [PDF]
In this paper, the potentials of polarimetric coherenceoptimization techniques for differential interferometric SAR (DInSAR) applications are examined. For this purpose, the cutting-edge approaches available in the literature are considered. First, synthetic PolSAR data simulating homogeneous distributed scatterers are employed

Coherently controlled quantum features in a coupled interferometric scheme
Over the last several decades, entangled photon pairs generated by spontaneous parametric down conversion processes in both second-order and third-order nonlinear optical materials have been intensively studied for various quantum features such as Bell ...

Phase-coherent interferometric imaging [PDF]
The essence of high resolution interferometric imaging is Michelson interferometry and it has a long history. Yet the symposium programme describes it as the Last Frontier! Why was it not crossed decades ago? This paradox needs some explanation. I suspect that many participants here are tourists in interferometry, as I am in their fields, so it is ...

Coherence evaluation of TanDEM-X interferometric data [PDF]
The TanDEM-X (TerraSAR-X add-on for Digital Elevation Measurement) mission comprises two nearly identical satellites: TerraSAR-X (TSX, launched in 2007), and TanDEM-X (TDX, launched in June 2010). The primary objective of the mission is to generate a worldwide and consistent digital elevation model (DEM) with an unprecedented accuracy. During the first
