We demonstrate a new InSAR (Satellite Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) postprocessing methodology termed STRAIN-SAR (Strain Tensor Rate Analysis − InSAR), which recovers full horizontal strain rate tensor values from single component, line-of-sight InSAR observations of dewatering subsidence.

Application of DInSAR-GPS optimization for derivation of fine-scale surface motion maps of Southern California [PDF]
A method based on random field theory and Gibbs-Markov random fields equivalency within Bayesian statistical framework is used to derive 3-D surface motion maps from sparse global positioning system (GPS) measurements and differential interferometric ...

Integration of LIDAR and IFSAR for mapping [PDF]
LiDAR and IfSAR data is now widely used for a number of applications, particularly those needing a digital elevation model. The data is often complementary to other data such as aerial imagery and high resolution satellite data.

Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry Based on Vortex Electromagnetic Waves
The vortex electromagnetic (EM) wave carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) offers a new degree of freedom for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging. Because vortex EM waves have helical wavefronts, the vortex EM wave-based SAR echo contains the three ...

On the variations of InSAR-ICA altitudes in a mountain area of the Sele Valley (South Italy)
The ERS-1/ERS-2 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data are processed by InSAR-ICA technique and the altitude<br />variations are calculated for the period June-December 1995.

Correction of Ionosphere for InSAR by the Combination of Differential TEC Estimators [PDF]
Low frequency spaceborne SAR configurations are favoured for global forest mapping applications and D-InSAR applications over natural terrain. Several missions have been scheduled to be launched / or proposed to be implemented in the next years: JAXA’s ...
