Change detection in repeat pass interferometric synthetic aperture radar
2003 Proceedings of the International Conference on Radar (IEEE Cat. No.03EX695), 2004In this paper, a scene change statistic based on a log likelihood ratio has been considered for detecting man-made scene disturbances in repeat pass SAR interferometry. The change statistic identifies scene disturbances through changes in the scene coherence as well as changes in the scene backscatter coefficient.

Automated rapid mapping with interferometric synthetic aperture radar data
IGARSS '96. 1996 International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2002This paper describes automated algorithms that generate map products in a rapid fashion with interferometric synthetic aperture radar (IFSAR) data set. The input IFSAR data set consists of backscatter, elevation and correlation images and the automatically extracted map elements include land-use polygons, transportation networks, buildings/man-made ...

Transionospheric Synthetic Aperture Radar Observation: A comprehensive review
IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing MagazineThe ionosphere is the Earth’s upper atmosphere with sufficiently charged particles that influence the electromagnetic wave propagation, thereby impeding spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) observations.

Motion compensation for airborne interferometric synthetic aperture radar
2009Airborne SAR interferometry has the potential to provide topographic data with a precision of the order of one meter. However, to generate data accurate to this level it is essential to measure and compensate for the antenna baseline motion. Conventional motion compensation techniques and their errors are analyzed and extended to the two channel ...

A Review on Latest Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar Researches
2009 WRI World Congress on Software Engineering, 2009In recent years, applications of InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture, Radar) to deformation monitoring has become a hotspot in research of geological hazards. This paper introduces the basic principles and data processing procedures of InSAR and summarizes main progresses made in InSAR technology and its application to deformation monitoring ...

Developments of Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar About Monitoring Deformation
2009 International Conference on Environmental Science and Information Application Technology, 2009Now, application of InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) to deformation monitoring has become a hotspot for monitoring deformation. The basic principles and data processing procedures of InSAR are introduced in this paper, at the same time, main progresses made in InSAR technology and its application to deformation monitoring are summarized.
