This chapter evaluated the potential of SBAS InSAR technology to monitor the land subsidence and its environmental impacts in tropical peatland area from Sintang Regency, Borneo Island, Indonesia. Result shows that0.354 Mt carbon was lost annually due tothis peat subsidence.
