Direct Growth of Leopard‐Patterned Graphene on Zinc Anodes via Sonochemistry for High‐Performance Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
We propose a novel bottom‐up synthesis method for 2D nanocarbon films using a sonochemical deposition process at room temperature and under atmospheric pressure. This process uniformly coats a Zn foil with unique 2D nanocarbon films, termed Leopard‐patterned graphene (Leo‐G).

Fluorinated Guanidino‐Polyamine Conjugates With Ribonuclease Activity – Toward a Therapeutic Tool for Multi‐Drug Therapy

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This study presents a first‐in‐class demonstration of polymeric cationic gene delivery vectors that exhibit intrinsic artificial ribonuclease activity. Based on low‐generation PAMAM dendrimers and low molecular weight PEI polymers functionalized with a fluorinated linker containing a guanidino group, our conjugates simultaneously enable gene ...

AlphaFold‐Guided Discovery of an Overlapping MYC/Miz‐1 Interface Enables Peptidomimetic Disruption of MYC/MAX

open access: yesChemMedChem, EarlyView.
From structure prediction to inhibition, AlphaFold‐Multimer pinpoints a Miz‐1/MAX interaction overlap on MYC, enabling the creation of peptidomimetics that shut down MYC/MAX/DNA binding with submicromolar potency. Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) lack stable structure and classical binding pockets, making them remarkably difficult to drug ...
