Fast demodulated white-light interferometry-based fiber-optic Fabry–Perot cantilever microphone

Optics Letters, 2018
We demonstrate a highly sensitive and stable fiber-optic Fabry-Perot cantilever microphone based on fast demodulated white-light interferometry. The cavity length of the low-finesse Fabry-Perot interferometry is absolutely measured by realizing a high ...

Interferometry with ScanSAR [PDF]

open access: possible1995 International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, IGARSS '95. Quantitative Remote Sensing for Science and Applications, 2002
ScanSAR data have non-stationary spectral properties. An efficient, phase-preserving azimuth focusing technique is introduced. ScanSAR interferometry is then studied: a misalignment in the scanning cycles of repeated surveys causes a decorrelation that is also slope-dependent.

Nonlinear subsidence rate estimation using permanent scatterers in differential SAR interferometry

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2000
Discrete and temporarily stable natural reflectors or permanent scatterers (PS) can be identified from long temporal series of interferometric SAR images even with baselines larger than the so-called critical baseline.

Fourier-transform method of fringe-pattern analysis for computer-based topography and interferometry

, 1982
A fast-Fourier-transform method of topography and interferometry is proposed. By computer processing of a noncontour type of fringe pattern, automatic discrimination is achieved between elevation and depression of the object or wave-front form, which has

Satellite radar interferometry: Two-dimensional phase unwrapping

, 1988
Interferometric synthetic aperture radar observations provide a means for obtaining high-resolution digital topographic maps from measurements of amplitude and phase of two complex radar images.

Generalized interferometry

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2018
When a parallel beam of light undergoes a discontinuous change in phase or in phase gradient in the central part of the beam, two wavefronts with a common border are formed. In this paper, we formulate the interference of two such wavefronts and show that conventional diffraction and interference are special cases of a generalized interference with ...

Double Bragg Interferometry [PDF]

open access: possiblePhysical Review Letters, 2016
We employ light-induced double Bragg diffraction of delta-kick collimated Bose-Einstein condensates to create three symmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometers. They rely on (i) first-order, (ii) two successive first-order, and (iii) second-order processes which demonstrate the scalability of the corresponding momentum transfer.
