Interharmonic - Flicker Curves of Lamps and Compatibility Lever for Interharmonic Voltages

2007 IEEE Lausanne Power Tech, 2007
The aim of the paper is to describe procedures for systematical determination of immunity of lamps to supply voltage variations caused by interharmonics. The curve of lamp immunity is presented as an interharmonic magnitude versus interharmonic frequency curve and is called interharmonic-flicker curve.

Detection of Flicker Caused by Interharmonics

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2009
International standard bodies have specified an instrument capable of detecting and assessing the severity of lighting flicker, which is called a flickermeter. However, a deficiency with regard to flicker caused by high-frequency interharmonics has been reported in the recent literature.

On the phase sequence characteristics of interharmonics

2006 IEEE Power Engineering Society General Meeting, 2005
Summary form only given. Phase sequence is an important attribute of voltages and currents in three phase power systems. This paper investigates the sequence characteristics of interharmonic components. Three common cases involving interharmonics are analyzed.

Interharmonics from a probabilistic perspective

IEEE Power Engineering Society General Meeting, 2005, 2005
Some of the most remarkable issues related to interharmonics observed from a probabilistic perspective are presented. Attention is firstly devoted to interharmonic frequency and amplitude variability. Starting from the basic mathematical and computational aspects of probabilistic harmonic models, the difficulties to include interharmonics are discussed

Interharmonic-Flicker Curves

IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2005
Flickers and interharmonics have an inherent relationship. The magnitude of a voltage can fluctuate if it contains interharmonics. This paper proposes a limit for interharmonics by utilizing the published limits on voltage flicker. The limit is presented as an interharmonic-magnitude versus interharmonic-frequency curve and is called interharmonic ...
