Advanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.Reactive carbon capture (RCC) with bicarbonate electrolyzers (BEs) offers an efficient alternative to gas‐fed CO2 electrolyzers by eliminating regeneration and pressurization steps. This study optimizes BE configurations and compares RCC chains to gas‐fed carbon chains for formate production.
