129I interlaboratory comparison

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B: Beam Interactions with Materials and Atoms, 1997
An interlaboratory comparison exercise for 129I has been organized and conducted. A total of seven laboratories participated in the exercise to either a full or limited extent. In the comparison, a suite of 11 samples was used. This suite of standards contained both synthetic “standard type” materials (i.e., AgI) and environmental materials.

Interlaboratory comparison of microphone calibration

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2004
The results of an interlaboratory comparison on microphone calibration involving five National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) are presented. The Institute for National Measurement Standards (INMS—Canada), was the pilot laboratory that provided the data analysis for this investigation.

Interlaboratory comparison of hydrophone calibrations

IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 1988
The results of an interlaboratory comparison of hydrophone calibration techniques in the frequency range 1-10 MHz are reported. Two membrane hydrophones were calculated to six laboratories, and each laboratory determined the end-of-cable loaded sensitivities using their normal calibration methods; these included optical interferometry, planar scanning,

Interlaboratory comparison of IDH mutation detection

Journal of Neuro-Oncology, 2013
Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) mutational testing is becoming increasingly important. For this, robust and reliable assays are needed. We tested the variation of results between six laboratories of testing for IDH mutations. Each laboratory received five unstained slides from 31 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) glioma samples, and followed its ...

Interlaboratory comparison trial on cylindrospermopsin measurement

Analytical Biochemistry, 2004
The hepatotoxin cylindrospermopsin (CYN) is a potent inhibitor of protein synthesis in mammalian cells. It is produced by freshwater cyanobacterial blooms in countries such as Australia, the United States, Israel, Thailand, and Brazil. An interlaboratory comparison was organized as a first step to evaluate the measurement of CYN in lyophilized ...

INTERLABORATORY COMPARISON OF CHOLINESTERASE ASSAY MEASUREMENTS

Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, 1994
Abstract Twelve wildlife toxicology laboratories participated in an interlaboratory survey of cholinesterase (ChE) assays to determine comparability of absolute ChE values and estimates of ChE inhibition from organophosphorus insecticide-dosed birds and to examine the type and consistency of methods employed by laboratories for the ...

Interlaboratory comparison of blood lead determinations

American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, 1979
Results are presented for an interlaboratory proficiency study of blood lead determinations. Samples were pooled from individuals occupationally exposed to lead. Performance of individual laboratories is compared over a two year period. With increased emphasis in recent years on proficiency studies of this type, agreement between laboratories has been ...

Interlaboratory comparison of serum thyroxine analyses

Clinical Biochemistry, 1982
Approximately 300 clinical chemistry laboratories participated in a survey of measurements of the thyroxine (T4) concentration in 13 lyophilized serum specimens prepared by spiking a base serum pool with several different levels of T4. Of 35 commercially available kit methods, 4 kits were used by 30 or more laboratories, and 9 by 10 or more ...

Interlaboratory Comparison at 10 V DC

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2005
An interlaboratory comparison at 10 V DC has been made among 16 national, industrial, and military standards laboratories in North America. The comparison used a set of four traveling Zener dc reference standards. A pivot laboratory made measurements at the beginning, at the end, and at four other times during the comparison.

Interlaboratory Comparisons in Water Bacteriology

Journal AWWA, 1967
The Sanitation and Radiation Laboratory of the California State Department of Public Health frequently has been requested to examine laboratories whose test results disagree. If a procedural review demonstrated no apparent deficiencies, further comparison of the laboratories has been made on the basis of a split‐sample study with relatively superficial
