A NEW DISCRETE HARTLEY TRANSFORM PRECODING BASED INTERLEAVED-OFDMA UPLINK SYSTEM WITH REDUCED PAPR FOR 4G CELLULAR NETWORKS [PDF]
High peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction is one of the major challenges in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems since last decades. High PAPR increases the complexity of analogue-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analogue (

ABSTRACT Background Upper‐airway morphology changes during breathing can be captured with cine 4D MRI. Active‐learning nnU‐Net reduces manual labeling while maintaining accuracy. Purpose For automatic upper airway segmentation on free‐breathing cine 4D MRI using active learning and quantifying dynamic changes under two mouth positions.

ABSTRACT Background Elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (ETI) is a current standard therapy for pediatric cystic fibrosis (CF). Multiple‐breath washout 129Xe MRI (MBW Xe‐MRI) is improved following 1 month of treatment. However, the utility of MBW Xe‐MRI over extended ETI treatment and its comparison to single‐breath Xe‐MRI and pulmonary function tests ...

Quantitative Real‐Time MRI for the Assessment of Gastric Motility
ABSTRACT Background Current reference standards for measuring gastric emptying and motility are not considered optimal due to the time required, ionizing radiation, invasiveness, and spatial resolution. Purpose To assess gastric motility using novel real‐time dynamic magnetic resonance imaging in combination with static measurements for gastric ...

Approaches to Computed Tomography Education for Radiography Students
The aim of this narrative review was to explore the current published literature relating to CT teaching methods and assessment of diagnostic radiography students during university training. Existing CT education evaluations focus on student satisfaction and usability of tools, with post‐lesson knowledge gains reported. Future work should shift towards

Photonic neural networks are emerging as a powerful tool for analyzing light. The article reports a photonic deep random neural network that performs single‐shot low‐latency measurements of the state and degree of polarization with high accuracy. Using only a stack of glass diffusers on top of a small camera sensor, this neuromorphic polarization ...

Overlap-Kernel EPI: Estimating MRI Shot-to-Shot Phase Variations by Shifted-Kernel Extraction From Overlap Regions at Arbitrary k-Space Locations. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Purpose In multi‐shot EPI, shot‐dependent phase fluctuations can introduce ghost artifacts, undermining advantages for enhancing resolution or reducing distortion, particularly in diffusion scans. Here, a novel self‐navigation strategy based on shift‐invariant kernel extraction is proposed, enabling robust estimation of phase inconsistencies ...

Fast Simulation of Wide‐Angle Coherent Diffractive Imaging
The propagation multi‐slice Fourier transform method is introduced as an accurate and efficient approach for describing light scattering for arbitrarily shaped objects. Its exceptional suitability for simulating coherent diffractive imaging of nanoparticles in the XUV and soft X‐ray range is demonstrated.
