Liquid‐Metal Interfacial Chemistry for Crystal and Defect Engineering in Two‐Dimensional Post‐Transition‐Metal Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Liquid‐metal interfaces provide dynamic reaction environments in which crystal growth, composition, and defect formation are intrinsically coupled. This Review reveals how interfacial oxidation, alloy thermodynamics, elemental migration, atmosphere, and processing govern defects in 2D post‐transition‐metal materials, and how these defects can be ...

Atomically Dispersed Fe‐Modified SnS for Sn‐Centered Peroxymonosulfate Activation Toward Acetaminophen Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Atomically dispersed Fe regulates the local electronic environment and surface properties of SnS, while PMS preferentially coordinates to Sn through Sn–O interaction. Fe incorporation further enhances the Sn–OPMS interfacial interaction, facilitating Sn‐centered PMS activation and the generation of SO4•−/•OH for APAP degradation, thereby clarifying the

Engineering an Artificial Metalloenzyme for Efficient Photo‐Enzymatic CO2 Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We built a light‐driven artificial metalloenzyme by covalently conjugating formate dehydrogenase (FDH) with a tailored rhodium complex (Rh‐L6) to overcome spatial‐separation‐limited electron transfer. This integration boosts NADH regeneration and CO2 conversion, giving 2.31‐fold higher formate yield than physical mixtures, due to a narrowed bandgap and

Mechanistic Insights Into Instability From Single Void Dynamics at the Lithium Metal‐Solid Electrolyte Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Void morphology at the lithium metal‐solid electrolyte contact governs electrochemical contact stability in all‐solid‐state batteries. This work resolves the competing roles of electrochemical reaction, bulk vacancy diffusion, and distinct surface diffusion pathways in dictating the size and morphology evolution of a single void and its transition to a

Self‐Healing Pd(II) Cage Metallogels for Iodine Capture in Water and Heterogeneous Photocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two carbazole‐derived metal‐organic cages hierarchically self‐assemble into supramolecular metallogels that integrate autonomous self‐healing, reversible stimuli responsiveness, high‐capacity aqueous iodine capture, and visible‐light‐driven photocatalytic sulfide oxidation within a single multifunctional platform.
