Effect of the intermediate sulfide layer on the Cu2ZnSnS4-based solar cells
Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2017Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin-film solar cells were fabricated using Cu/Sn/Zn and Cu/SnS/Zn precursors. The precursors were prepared using a magnetron-sputtering system with subsequent annealing (sulfurization) in a sulfur atmosphere. Sulfurization was carried out at 580 °C for 1 h in an H2S/N2 environment at atmospheric pressure.

Gold mining in Western Borneo can be traced back over a century in the Dutch era. Many of these gold deposits are hosted in auriferous quartz veins, yet their geology and alteration/mineralization features have never been well documented. In this study, we present the first detailed account on gold mineralization in Western Borneo, using the Monterado ...

The formation of intermediate sulfide phases in the solid state
Economic Geology, 1954A theory of formation of intermediate sulfide phases in the solid state is proposed to explain the phenomena observed in studying the phase equilibria of such systems as: Cu 2 S-CuS, Cu 2 S-Sb 2 S 3 , Cu 2 S-As 2 S 3 , and Cu 2 S-FeS. The theory of formation (and the reverse process of "ex-solution") is based upon the simultaneous and ...

Abstract The Cheshmeh Hafez epithermal base metal deposit is located in Troud-Chah Shirin mountain range in the Alborz magmatic belt of northern Iran. In this area, the Eocene volcanism and associated mineralization are controlled by NW-SE trending Anjilo and Troud major faults.

Abstract Understanding the poorly constrained transition between porphyry and intermediate-sulfidation epithermal mineralizations is critical for deciphering the genetic link and fluid evolution in porphyry systems. In this study, we investigate late-stage, post-porphyry polymetallic (Zn-Ag-Au-Cu ± Pb) veins from the No. 1 porphyry Cu-

Low-intermediate sulfidation epithermal vein deposits form at shallow levels in hydrothermal systems and contain important resources of gold and silver. Individual veins dip steeply, extend for strike lengths of 500 to 5000 m, whereas vein districts cover areas ranging from <10 to 100 km2 Within epithermal veins, ore bodies are often localised ...
