Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

A Broadband X-Ray Investigation of Fast-spinning Intermediate Polar CTCV J2056–3014
We report on XMM-Newton, NuSTAR, and NICER X-ray observations of CTCV J2056–3014, a cataclysmic variable (CV) with one of the fastest-spinning white dwarfs (WDs) at P = 29.6 s.

A Serendipitous XMM-Newton Observation of the Intermediate Polar WX Pyx
We briefly describe a serendipitous observation of the little-studied intermediate polar WX Pyx using XMM-Newton. The X-ray spin period is 1557.3 sec, confirming the optical period published in 1996. An orbital period of approximately 5.54 hr is inferred

Periodicities In The X-Ray Intensity Variations of TV Columbae: An Intermediate Polar [PDF]
We present results from a temporal analysis of the longest and the most sensitive X-ray observations of TV Columbae--an intermediate polar. The observations were carried out with the RXTE PCA, ROSAT PSPC, and ASCA.

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

The disappearance and reformation of the accretion disc during a low state of FO Aquarii [PDF]
FO Aquarii, an asynchronous magnetic cataclysmic variable (intermediate polar) went into a low-state in 2016, from which it slowly and steadily recovered without showing dwarf nova outbursts.

Accretion characteristics in intermediate polars [PDF]
This thesis concerns the class of interacting binaries known as intermediate polars (IPs). These are semi-detached magnetic cataclysmic variable systems in which a red dwarf secondary transfers material via Roche lobe overflow onto a white dwarf (WD). The magnetic field of the white dwarf (~ 106 to 107Gauss) plays an important part in determining the ...

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Out-of-plane polarization in a layered manganese chloride hybrid
We investigate possible mechanisms to induce electric polarization in layered organic-inorganic hybrids. Specifically, we investigate the structural phase transitions of PEA2MnCl4 (PEA = phenethylamine) using temperature dependent single-crystal X-ray ...
