Our study demonstrates that UV cross‐linking (CXL) reduces outflow facility while increasing corneal elasticity across IOP levels of 20–40 mmHg, measured using direct manometry and non‐contact optical coherence elastography. These results highlight both parameters as potential indicators for evaluating CXL effectiveness and monitoring keratoconus ...

A composite hydrogel (C‐gel) incorporating PEG‐b‐PPS filomicelles enables localized in situ gelation and sustained nanocarrier release within the anterior chamber. The filamentous structure promotes spatial confinement of multi‐arm polymer crosslinking, even upon injection into large aqueous volumes, and gradually transitions into spherical micelles ...

Nanobiotechnology‐Based Approaches for Uveal Melanoma Treatment
Emerging platforms for uveal melanoma combine precision drug delivery, ROS‐amplifying modalities, and nucleic acid transport to overcome ocular barriers and immunosuppressive niches. Targeted nanoparticles, virus‐like constructs, and injectable depots enable localized activation, controlled release, and gene‐level reprogramming.

Abstract Purpose The demand for specialised eye care has quadrupled over the last two decades, driven by an aging population and the advent of new treatments. This surge has led to increased outsourcing by the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) Eye Hospital, initially relying on a fee‐for‐service model. This model, however, has been marked by

An Atypical Presentation of Tubulointerstitial Nephritis With Uveitis (TINU) in an Older Patient Requiring Emergency Dialysis: A Case Report [PDF]
ABSTRACT Tubulointerstitial nephritis with uveitis (TINU) is an immune‐mediated systemic disorder most commonly described in adolescents and young adults, and its recognition in older patients remains challenging. We report the case of a 58‐year‐old woman who presented with systemic symptoms and rapidly progressive acute kidney injury.
