CO2 Methanation Of Co/CeO2 Prepared by Wetness Impregnation of Co on Flame‐Synthesized CeO2

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Tailoring the interaction between cobalt (Co) species and flame‐synthesized cerium oxide (CeO2) influences selectivity in CO and CO2 hydrogenation. The chemical state of Co in catalysts with varying loadings was analyzed. Correlations between chemical state, particle size, and catalytic performance offer insights for designing more selective and stable

Efficient Anodized WO3 Photoanode for Photoelectrocatalytic Applications: Hydrogen Production and Reduction of CO2

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Tungsten oxide nanostructures prepared by hydrodynamic anodization using an ionic liquid present optimal photoelectrochemical performance as catalysts in the water splitting reaction and in the CO2 reduction. Abstract In this work, a nanostructured WO3 photoanode has been used for photoelectrochemical H2 production and CO2 reduction.

Phase‐Dependent Catalytic Oxidation of Secondary Alcohols Using Spinel Cobaltite Catalysts Under Liquid‐ and Gas‐Phase Flow Conditions

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
The challenging catalytic oxidation of secondary alcohols is studied in different settings, both in the gas and complex liquid phase, as well as in batch and the more industrially relevant flow conditions. The research highlights phase‐specific effects and addresses important issues such as the physical and chemical stability of the catalysts ...

Efficient Mesoporous NiCeLaOx‐Based Catalysts Prepared by Nanocasting for the RWGS Reaction

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Mesoporous catalysts prepared by nanocasting or hard‐templating method have developed a mesoporous structure and a large specific surface area that increase the CO production by catalyst weight, compared to those prepared by sol‐gel, since the larger porosity notably increases the dispersion of the active phases. Abstract In this work, the influence of

Boosting Hydrogen Release: Optimized C3N4‐Supported Palladium Catalysts for Formic Acid Dehydrogenation

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Palladium supported on carbon nitride sheets was developed to decompose formic acid under mild conditions. The obtained results revealed a clear structure–activity relationship between the Pd‐exposed crystallographic planes and the catalytic performance.
