Brain‐Computer Interface Training Fosters Perceptual Skills to Detect Errors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Accurate perception of visuomotor errors underpins motor precision and learning, yet conventional behavioral training fails to improve sensitivity to subtle errors. Real‐time EEG‐based brain‐computer interface feedback targeting the error positivity component enhances perceptual learning of small errors.

A Clinical Study of Internal Derangement of Temporomandibular Joint Diagnosed with Magnetic Resonance Imaging

open access: yes, 1996
Internal derangement of thee temporomandibular joint (TMJ) can be defined as an -abnormal relationship of the articular disc to the condylar head and articular eminence.

An Innovative Approach to Managing Temporomandibular Disorders Through the Combined Use of Two Oral Devices: A Case Report

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are increasingly prevalent in the adult population. Given the multifactorial and often chronic nature of TMD, the ideal therapeutic approach must be multimodal and personalized, with a preference for conservative ...

Internal derangements of the temporomandibular joint: A review of the anatomy, diagnosis, and management

open access: yesThe Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society, 2015
Internal derangements of the temporomandibular joint are conditions in which the articular disc has become displaced from its original position the condylar head. Relevant anatomic structures and their functional relationships are briefly discussed.

Relationship between internal derangement of the temporomandibular joint and dentofacial morphology in women with anterior open bite [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Introduction: Anterior open bite is known to be associated with internal derangement of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). This study examined the relationships between internal derangement and dentofacial morphology in women with anterior open bite ...

Machine‐Learning Framework for Designing Stable Interfaces in All‐Solid‐State Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A data‐driven strategy is developed to discover coating materials for all‐solid‐state lithium batteries. Using calculations of interfacial reactivity, unsupervised pattern recognition, and machine‐learning prediction, the study identifies low‐reactivity compositional patterns and screens new lithium‐based oxide and polyanion candidates, extending ...

CXCL10/SLC11A1 Axis Exacerbates Septic Liver Injury by Regulating Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation to Drive Macrophage Pro‑Inflammatory Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In sepsis‐induced liver injury, marked neutrophil infiltration correlates with disease severity. Neutrophil SLC11A1 drives intracellular Fe2+ and ROS via the Fenton reaction, promoting NETs formation. Hepatocyte‐derived CXCL10 recruits neutrophils and activates the JAK/STAT1/SLC11A1 axis, enhancing NETs‐mediated inflammation.

StackingNet: Collective Inference Across Independent AI Foundation Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) built on large foundation models has transformed language understanding, computer vision, and reasoning, yet these systems remain isolated and cannot readily share their capabilities. Coordinating the complementary strengths of independently developed, black‐box foundation models is essential for trustworthy ...

Does the lavage volume affect the clinical outcome after temporomandibular joint arthrocentesis? Perspective randomized controlled clinical study

open access: yesAdvances in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Background: Literature variations have been found about the volume of the solution used for the irrigation of TMJ. Purpose: The aim of the current study was to investigate the effect of different lavage volume on the clinical outcome after arthrocentesis
