Anatomic Popliteus Tendon and Tibiofibular Joint Reconstructions
Background: The popliteus tendon is a primary stabilizer of external knee rotation and has been described as the “fifth ligament of the knee.” Injuries involving the posterolateral corner of the knee commonly involve the popliteus tendon; isolated injury

Morphology, Transport, and Dynamics of Protein Adsorption in Open‐Cell Metal Foam
Stainless steel (SS) open‐cell foams are shown to adsorb more protein per unit area than previously reported 316L SS and chromium oxide surfaces under static and flow conditions. An integrated approach combining 3D pore imaging, flow simulation, and protein adsorption experiments characterizes the foam’s performance.

Comparing internal and external stabilization for traumatic elbow instability: a systematic review
Background: Despite surgical reestablishment of the supporting structures, instability may often persist in traumatic elbow injury. In these cases, a temporary internal or external fixator may be indicated to unload the repaired structures and maintain ...

Contributions of the Capsule and Labrum to Hip Mechanics in the Context of Hip Microinstability
Background: Hip microinstability and labral pathology are commonly treated conditions with increasing research emphasis. To date, there is limited understanding of the biomechanical effects of the hip capsule and labrum on controlling femoral head motion.

This perspective reframes additive manufacturing for electrical machines as a qualification‐limited materials and architecture design problem. It links process–structure–property–performance relationships to magnetic, conducting, dielectric, and thermal property windows, highlighting where AM can enable segmented magnetic circuits, permanent magnet ...
