Temporal‐Parotid Resection for Malignant Parotid Tumors: A Systematic Review
Parotid gland tumors represent a complex surgical challenge. Temporal‐parotid resection (TPR) is indicated to manage temporal bone invasion. Thirteen studies investigated the role of TPR in literature, including 336 patients. High rates of negative margins and local disease control are achieved with TPR.

Abstract Background Cats placed on anticoagulant medication require frequent monitoring. The veterinary viscoelastic coagulation monitor (VCM‐Vet) could provide a convenient and cost‐effective monitoring, enabling therapeutic decision making. Hypothesis/Objectives Enoxaparin will lead to changes in VCM‐Vet variables and these will correlate with antiXa

Predictive Factors of Free Flap Volume Evolution in Head and Neck Reconstruction
Abstract Objective The aim of our study was to determine the factors influencing the evolution of the total volume and bone volume of free flaps commonly used in head and neck surgery, with a 30‐month prospective study, to establish volume change predictions and thus propose a degree of overcorrection to be expected before reconstruction.

Abstract Background The hypothalamic‐pituitary‐adrenocortical axis (HPAA) response to sepsis can be impaired in critical illness. Corticotropin‐releasing hormone (CRH) stimulation test might assess HPAA function in foals. Objective To evaluate plasma cortisol, ACTH, arginine vasopressin (AVP), and endogenous CRH (eCRH) response to different doses of ...
