Characteristics of atrioventricular block during slow pathway ablation for atrioventricular nodal re‐entrant tachycardia: A comparative study of cryoablation and radiofrequency ablation

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 41, Issue 3, June 2025.
This study aimed to investigate the differences in the appearance of atrioventricular block (AVB) between cryoablation and radiofrequency (RF) ablation for atrioventricular nodal re‐entrant tachycardia (AVNRT). Our findings revealed that cryoablation for AVNRT has a higher incidence of transient AVB than RF ablation.

Transient conduction block of the superior vena cava following pulsed field ablation of the right superior pulmonary vein

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 41, Issue 3, June 2025.
This case demonstrates that an immediate superior vena cava (SVC) conduction block may occur during pulsed field ablation (PFA) due to anatomical proximity, a positive tissue proximity index, and a narrow SVC diameter. However, lesions not directly influenced by PFA tend to regress and may be reversible, leading to SVC potential reconduction.

Clinical outcomes of endovascular treatment in hemodialysis patients with central venous stenosis: A retrospective analysis

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, Volume 29, Issue 3, Page 408-418, June 2025.
Abstract Introduction Endovascular treatment is one of treatment options for hemodialysis patients with central venous stenosis (CVS), but clinical outcomes and risk factors remain inadequately studied. This study seeks to investigate the occurrence and risk factors associated with CVS.

Progressive sequential development of left and right‐sided idiopathic recurrent laryngeal neuropathy in a Standardbred racehorse

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, Volume 37, Issue 6, Page e98-e104, June 2025.
Summary A 4‐year‐old Standardbred racehorse presented to the hospital due to poor performance and abnormal respiratory noises. A high‐speed treadmill videoendoscopic examination including tracheal airway pressure measurements was performed. Grade C left recurrent neuropathy was diagnosed and a prosthetic laryngoplasty was performed.
