Internal Mammary Artery Harvest: Two Techniques with Tips and Tricks

open access: yes, 2023
This video describes the pedicle and skeletonization techniques for internal mammary artery harvest. Tips and tricks are discussed, as well as how to increase mammary length.

Mesoporous‐Shell Monolayer Plasmonic Architecture Enables Quantitative and Decision‐Guided SERS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mesoporous‐shell‐regulated molecular transport combined with monolayer hotspot determinism transforms surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) from ultrasensitive detection into quantitative and decision‐guided molecular sensing. ABSTRACT Quantitative surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) has long been impeded by stochastic hotspot formation ...

CHST1 Drives Immunotherapy Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer by Orchestrating an Immunosuppressive Microenvironment via the NKRF–CCL20–Macrophage Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Proposed model of CHST1‐associated immune remodeling in triple‐negative breast cancer. In CHST1‐low tumors, greater nuclear accumulation of NKRF is associated with repression of an NF‐κB‐related CCL20 transcriptional program and an immune‐inflamed microenvironment.

Four case reports of left anterior descending restenosis treated via the internal mammary artery: A literature review

open access: yesHeliyon
Objective: To analyse four cases of intervention via the internal mammary artery–anterior descending branch and provide and summarise the clinical treatment experience. Methods: The clinical data of four patients with distal restenosis of a left anterior

Hyper‐Intense Tumor Peripheral Accumulation of Antibody‐Conjugated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles can Enable Breast Cancer Detection by Magnetic Particle Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor‐associated inflammation retains antibody‐targeted or non‐specific antibody conjugated nanoparticles within the tumor microenvironment. Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) enables non‐invasive detection and differentiation of tumors from other organs, owing to higher nanoparticle retention by inflammatory cells in the tumor periphery.

The Left Internal Mammary Artery Graft

open access: yesJACC: Case Reports, 2019
After an unsuccessful left internal mammary artery (LIMA) to left anterior descending percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in an outside hospital, a patient presented with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. The patient was found to have LIMA

Nutritional regulation of stearoyl-CoA desaturase in the bovine mammary gland [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Increasing the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids (UFA) in milk is believed to be beneficial in terms of human health, thereby increasing the nutritional quality of milk.

Comparative analysis of TP53 gene in Tupaia belangeri subspecies (Tupaia belangeri yaoshanensis vs. Tupaia belangeri chinensis) and identification of mutations in spontaneous tumor cases

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
This study provides the first evidence of natural TP53 variation between tree shrew subspecies and identifies somatic TP53 mutations in spontaneous tree shrew sarcomas. The high structural and functional conservation of tree shrew p53 with humans supports its utility as a relevant model for TP53‐related cancer research.

78. Coronary bypass using bilateral internal mammary arteries in an achondroplast

open access: yesJournal of the Saudi Heart Association, 2015
Coronary bypass grafting for ischemic heart disease in achondroplastic dwarfs is very rare. Shortage of veins and sometimes, inadequate vein quality can cause difficulties during surgery.

MicroRNA‐Seq Analysis Reveals a Critical Role for miR‐222 in Bovine Intramuscular Adipogenesis via the DDIT4/mTORC1 Axis

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Schematic diagram illustrating how miR‐222 promotes bovine intramuscular adipogenesis by targeting DDIT4 to activate the mTORC1 signaling pathway. ABSTRACT Intramuscular fat (IMF) is a key determinant of beef quality, particularly with respect to tenderness, flavor, and juiciness.
