Propagation Evolution Characteristics of Weakly Nonlinear Internal Solitary Waves on Slopes
The propagation equation of variable-coefficient internal solitary waves was used to describe the propagation and evolution of weakly nonlinear internal solitary waves (ISWs)on slopes with different slopes.

This work constructed a tandem W−N−C center to simultaneously achieve the regulation of reaction pathways and optimization of charge separation efficiency. The Lewis‐acidic W6+ sites activated O2 to generate O2−$O_2^ - $, with enhanced charge separation via electronic modulation, steering U(VI) reduction down an efficient radical pathway.

Research progress on biomarkers of traumatic brain injury
Traumatic brain injury: From primary insult to secondary neuroinflammation and degeneration. Abstract Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a common disorder of the nervous system and has become a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, imposing a substantial burden on patients and their social circles. Its main symptoms include dyskinesia, language

A nonlinear equation of the Korteweg–de Vries equation usually describes internal solitary waves in the coastal ocean that lead to an exact solitary wave solution. However, in any real application, there exists the Earth’s rotation.

MTU2-Net: Extracting Internal Solitary Waves from SAR Images
Internal Solitary Waves (ISWs) play a pivotal role in transporting energy and matter within the ocean and also pose substantial risks to ocean engineering, navigation, and underwater communication systems.

On internal solitary waves. II
The asymptotic evolution of straight-crested internal solitary waves, from prescribed initial conditions, in that parametric domain in which quadratic nonlinearity, cubic nonlinearity, and dispersion are weak and of comparable significance is calculated through inverse-scattering theory. An initially rectangular displacement, which presumably serves as

Two-dimensional numerical simulations of shoaling internal solitary waves at the ASIAEX site in the South China Sea [PDF]
The interaction of barotropic tides with Luzon Strait topography generates some of the world's largest internal solitary waves which eventually shoal and dissipate on the western side of the northern South China Sea. Two-dimensional numerical simulations

Numerical evaluation of equivalence ratio measurement using OH* and CH* chemiluminescence in premixed and non-premixed methane-air flames [PDF]
We provide the existence and asymptotic description of solitary wave solutions to a class of modified Green–Naghdi systems, modeling the propagation of long surface or internal waves. This class was recently proposed by Duchêne et al. (Stud Appl Math 137:

Mixing Efficiency for Breaking Internal Solitary Waves
We propose a semi-analytic approach to estimate mixing induced by internal solitary waves (ISWs) breaking over a sloping boundary. The theoretical framework we develop describes the energetics of a stratified fluid flow during the interaction of ISWs ...
