UDP‐glucose dehydrogenase variants cause dystroglycanopathy
Abstract UDP‐glucose dehydrogenase (UGDH) variants have been associated with hypotonia, developmental delay, and epilepsy. We report the first pathologic evidence of dystroglycanopathy in siblings with UGDH variants. Both presented around 6 months with developmental delay and elevated creatinine kinase.

Study on the nonlinear viscoelastic behavior of rubber composites filled with silica
Silica-filled rubber composites exhibit nonlinear viscoelastic behavior depending on filler dispersion and matrix interaction. This study investigated the effects of silane treatment on dynamic mechanical properties of precipitated and fumed silica ...

Abstract Objective Exploring the prevalence and association between intracranial atherosclerosis (ICAS) and cerebral small vessel diseases (CSVD), this study delved beyond the current scope, utilising high‐resolution vessel wall MRI (HRVW‐MRI) to investigate how subtle changes in intracranial atherosclerotic features influence the various burdens of ...

An Internal Model Principle For Robots [PDF]
When designing a robot's internal system, one often makes assumptions about the structure of the intended environment of the robot. One may even assign meaning to various internal components of the robot in terms of expected environmental correlates. In this paper we want to make the distinction between robot's internal and external worlds clear-cut ...

Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy Is Associated With Higher R2 Relaxation Rate: An MRI and Pathology Study
ABSTRACT Objective Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) involves β‐amyloid deposition in the walls of cortical and leptomeningeal small vessels. Transverse relaxation rate (R2) is a major source of contrast in MRI. This study tested the hypothesis that CAA is associated with R2, extracted the spatial pattern of CAA‐related R2 abnormalities, and evaluated ...

Infinite-dimensional Convex Cones: Internal Geometric Structure and Analytical Representation [PDF]
In the paper we consider convex cones in infinite-dimensional real vector spaces which are endowed with no topology. The main purpose is to study an internal geometric structure of convex cones and to obtain an analytical description of those. To this end, we first introduce the notion of an open component of a convex cone and then prove that an ...
