Quantum geodesics reflecting the internal structure of stars composed of shells [PDF]
In general relativity, an external observer cannot distinguish distinct internal structures between two spherically symmetric stars that have the same total mass $M$. However, when quantum corrections are taken into account, the external metrics of the stars will receive quantum corrections depending on their internal structures.

Quantum Internal Structure of Plasmons [PDF]
Plasmons are usually described in terms of macroscopic quantities such as electric fields and currents. However as fundamental excitations of metals they are also quantum objects with internal structure. We demonstrate that this can induce an intrinsic dipole moment which is tied to the quantum geometry of the Hilbert space of plasmon states. This {\it

Agglomerate Size Evolution in Solid Propellant Combustion under High Pressure
Solid propellant combustion and flow are significantly affected by condensed combustion products (CCPs) in solid rocket motors. A new aluminum agglomeration model is established using the discrete element method, considering the burning rate and ...

Planetary Internal Structures [PDF]
This chapter reviews the most recent advancements on the topic of terrestrial and giant planet interiors, including Solar System and extrasolar objects. Starting from an observed mass-radius diagram for known planets in the Universe, we will discuss the various types of planets appearing in this diagram and describe internal structures for each type ...
